Welp, back here again.

Okayyy so I might have not given news in like, errrrrr around the time of a year..

But dont worry! We were focusing alot more on concepts and story before we implemented anything in, whats a good game without good features and good story?

We did some idea exchanges and came up with 5+ installments for the game, those being in canonical order:


Totaled: Canada -> Totaled: 2 -> Totaled: Comrade edition/Totaled (Takes place at the same time, comrade edition starts a few years beforehand) -> Totaled: Infinity


And for the zombies gamemode of each:


Totaled: 2 -> Totaled: Infinity -> Totaled/CE


Note: Zombies gamemode is NOT in the same canon as the main games, they run their own series with less budget. No matter what enemy we implement, Zombies is never canon.


We also came up with the brilliant idea of making Totaled in unity, and oh boy am I specifically screwed. Its maybe going to be fully 3D but not even I know if NG can run such a high end game. And I have zero modeling experience so we all have to look for a freelance.

We created a bunch of characters, to refrain from spoilers we will just be giving their names:


Oily/Ethanol

Beanie Boy

Subway girl

Shinigami Akutai

RN Radio guy 1

RN Radio guy 2

The Boss

Helicopter pilot

Karudokuto

Kazuko

Adam

And alot more!

Not all these characters will be in the first installment, for example Karudokuto will be the protagonist of Totaled: INFINITY


We upped the number of people on the team and added 2 story-writers.

Made the first extremely rough draft of Totaled 1's map:

The idea in mind is the use of photos of the places we are basing the map off.

So, its highly subject to change.


In the dev specific build we patched up a bug where if you die your entire game cuts.

Messing around with specific enemy HP and also knockback, there was a bug where the HP an enemy had only portained to what gun you were using, so for example.


If you shot a enemy to 1 hp and then changed your weapon, they would have all their health back and if you shot them they would have the same effects but if you swapped to the weapon you got them to 1 HP with they would go back to having 1 HP. So HP used to only be based off what gun you used.

ACU: Pretty much the FBI, stands for "Anti-Chaos-Unit"


SCAR: ACU but more character specific, stands for "Search Control Acess Recon"


SDF: Private military, kinda like marywheather. Settlement Defense Front.
